About the Project

Across the country, small towns are doing incredible work to stay visible — juggling static websites, scattered social posts, and word-of-mouth promotion.

Cultivate Local brings those efforts together in one simple, living platform built for real places.

  • • Share local events with built-in SEO
  • • Highlight small businesses through storytelling
  • • Post community news and civic updates
  • • Strengthen visibility and connection online

Why It Matters

Because local stories get buried online.

The internet favors what’s loud and big. We’re here for what’s local and real.

Because events shouldn’t vanish into social feeds.

We make it easy for towns to stay discoverable — for visitors and neighbors alike.

Because connection fuels local economies.

Visibility creates foot traffic, collaboration, and pride. Storytelling becomes growth.

From the North Fork Valley

Cultivate Local is being built right here in western Colorado’s North Fork Valley — home to artists, farmers, and dreamers who care deeply about place.

I’m Kit Masaracchia, a developer who’s spent over a decade building digital tools for brands like Spotify, Tillamook, and the Academy of Motion Pictures. But my heart is here — helping small towns like ours stay visible and connected in a digital world that often forgets them.
